This Washington D.C. The design size of the temple is 75 x 85 squares. It is 75 x 94 squares if the name of the temple is included. The temple is located in Kensington, Maryland, just of the Capital Beltway #495. It was dedicated on November 19, 1974, by President Spencer W. Kimball. It is the 16th temple in operation constructed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the first temple in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
