    It is suggested that the test be administered twice each school year. Give the test the first time (as a pre-test) during first 10 days of class. Give the test the second time (as a post-test) during the last 10 days of class for the school year. This schedule allows time for end-of-year comparisons and evaluations.  {tcc 07}

    Also available are packages of student Answer Sheets and Test Scoring Guides. The Answer Sheets are one-sheet two-sided 8.5″ x 11″ sheets upon which students mark their answers to the test. A separate sheet is needed for each student each time the test is to be taken.

    A one-sheet two-page Test Scoring Guide is used to record and categorize each student’s answers each time the test is taken. This sheet becomes a permanent record and is used for comparing pre-test and post-test scores and progress over the years. The Scoring Guide separates answers into seven categories, which allows instructors to understand which general subjects are understood and which subjects need further teaching and review. The categories are: (1) Posture, Breath Control, and Vocal Freedom; (2) Vocal Technique and Performance Style; (3) Practice Techniques and Objectives’ (4) Voice Classifications and Personal Vocal Characteristics; (5) Tone Quality and Vocal Resonance; (6) Diction; and (7) The Vocal Mechanism and Its Care.

    Packets containing 25 student Answer Sheets plus 25 test Scoring Guides are available in quantities of 25 of each sheet. See tcc 08.
