This cross stitch pattern of the Richmond Virginia temple contains:
- two counted cross stitch charts: one printed with colored squares printed with symbols; the other is a chart with black symbols
- two pages of detailed instructions
- the color key
- a color photo of the stitched temple
- and a black & white backstitched outline of the temple.
The design size is 76 x 99 squares—76 x 108 squares if the name of the temple is included. If 14-count even weave material is used, the finished temple will measure about 5 ½ by 7”.
This temple is located in Glen Allen, a suburb of Richmond, Virginia. It is the 177th temple in operation today and was the first temple built in the state of Virginia. It was dedicated on May 7, 2023, by President Dallin H. Oakes.
Photographs of the Richmond Virginia Temple were used as guides in the creation of the basic design. The trees, bushes and landscape details can easily be changed, added to, or deleted according to the preference of the stitcher.
The finished project can be personalized with names and dates using the alphabet and numbers provided in the pattern. The gift of a personalized, event-dated, attractively-framed rendering of the temple will be a life-long treasure for those who receive eternal blessings and promises in that sacred House of the Lord.
