Preparing Preschoolers is an easy-to-use nursery school program with lesson plans & teaching aids for parents and professionals. It is designed for anyone in the process of teaching preschool children: parents, grandparents, teachers, aides, babysitters, church leaders and others. Preparing Preschoolers is a ready-to-use preschool course. It contains 14 units of study (84 lessons) that are of particular interest to the preschooler. Each lesson within the units has specific objectives and a lesson plan that is easy to follow and written so a young child can understand the concepts. The lessons are filled with interesting facts, creative learning activities, suggested arts and crafts, and exciting children’s recipes. Although the course is designed primarily for children four years of age, it can be done with a younger or older child. It is ideal for a mother of preschoolers to use in her home. A child loves mother to be his teacher at this age, and he will look forward to his personal school time when he has his mother’s devoted attention.
Preparing Preschoolers is the instructor’s book of units. Projects for Preschoolers is a workbook that is filled with fun activities, art projects and teaching aids that coincide with the units in Preparing Preschoolers. They are to be used together but can be purchased separately. It is extremely versatile and can be used in many teaching situations such as in the child’s home, preschools, day-care centers, nursery schools, church nurseries, and neighborhood and school cooperative preschool efforts.
