Information about the audio download Nephi’s Panoramic Preview
Nephi’s Panoramic Preview is an item-by-item explanation of a Book of Mormon prophecy that spans more than 2,500 years in its fulfillment. First Nephi 11-14 contains one of the most extensive revelations ever granted to man. In this great prophecy, Nephi sweeps down through time, revealing specific details of 71 events which changed or will change the course of mankind.
His prophecies center on
(1) Christ’s mortal ministry and anti-Christian persecutions which followed in the middle east,
(2) events in the Book of Mormon lands beginning with the appearance of the resurrected Christ up to the coming forth of the Book of Mormon and restoration of the church of Jesus Christ, and
(3) future last-days events. Nephi foretells Jesus’s ministry, his being baptized by a prophet, having 12 disciples and calling 12 more when He visits the Americas.
He foresees ongoing wars between the Nephites and Lamanites, Columbus coming to the Americas followed by multitudes of Gentiles settling here in the “promised land.”
Nephi envisions the coming forth of the Bible, the coming forth of the Book of Mormon in a time when people “will seek to bring forth Zion,” and other books coming forth including one by a prophet named John who would write about many last-days events.
He sees that the Lamb of God will “work a great and marvelous work,” and that those who accept Christ will be a “blessed people upon the promised land forever.”
He foretells wars and rumors of wars among all nations, and a future time when the “wrath of God is poured out.” And much, much more!
In Nephi’s Panoramic Preview, these events are identified, explained, and correlated with one another as this truly-remarkable prophecy is expounded. You’ll discover lots of events you’ve probably overlooked in your previous readings of these remarkable predictions!
