The design size of the temple is 103 by 55 squares. It is 103 by 64 squares if the name of the temple is included. If 14-count even-weave material is used, the finished temple will measure about 7½” by 4”.

The temple was dedicated on July 26, 1998 by President Gordon B. Hinckley. It is the 53rd temple in operation today, the 11th temple in Utah. It is the first temple to be built using the small temple design proposed by President Hinckley.
