The design size of the temple is 63 by 76 squares. It is 63 by 85 squares if the name of the temple is included. If 14-count evenweave material is used, the finished temple will measure about 4½” by 5½.”

The temple was dedicated on May 21, 1888 by President Lorenzo Snow, the only temple he dedicated. It is the third of the four original pioneer temples built in Utah.
