Designed by Jean D. Crowther
The Kansas City Missouri Temple leaflet contains a counted cross-stitch pattern of the temple located in Kansas City, Missouri. The leaflet contains detailed instructions and a black & white depiction of the temple pattern. The design size of the temple is 71 x 86 squares. It is 71 x 96 squares if the name of the temple is included. The Kansas City Missouri Temple was dedicated on May 6, 2012 by President Thomas S. Monson. It is the 137th temple in operation constructed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and it is the 2nd temple in the state of Missouri. However, there were three other temple sites dedicated in Missouri in the 1830s: Independence, Far West and Adam-ondi-Ahman. These temples were not built because of the exodus of the Saints from Missouri.
