The failures and successes, trials and triumphs, tragedies and joys which everyone experiences are all a part of the adventure of life. For instance, the book describes how Lou Minkin, a Jewish man looking for prophets, finds them, and obtains joy in a unique way. DeAnne Anderson Shelley finds joy as she walks away from her wheelchair in a remarkable set of circumstances.
