The Idaho Falls Idaho Temple was originally dedicated on September 23, 1945, by President George Albert Smith, the only temple he dedicated. It was the eighth temple constructed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the first temple in the state of Idaho. The temple was closed in October 2011 for a major renovation. It was rededicated on June 4, 2019, by President Henry B. Eyring.
Photographs of the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple were used as guides in the creation of the basic design. The trees, bushes and landscape details can easily be changed, added to, or deleted according to the preference of the stitcher. The finished project can be personalized with names and dates using the alphabet and numbers provided in the pattern. The gift of a personalized, event-dated, attractively-framed rendering of the temple will be a life-long treasure for those who receive eternal blessings and promises in that sacred House of the Lord.
