Information about the audio download He Comes in Glory!
Drawing from Biblical and Latter-day Saint sources, He Comes in Glory! first summarizes twenty-five major events prophesied to precede the second coming. These events include
- the fulfilling of the times of the Gentiles,
- World War III,
- anarchy in America and worldwide as nations struggle to recover,
- Lamanite uprisings,
- the collapse of U.S. government, and
- people crowding to the U.S. west seeking order and provisions.
During this period some Saints will journey back to Jackson County Missouri and begin construction of the city and area of the New Jerusalem. Many of the righteous will gather at that locale. Wide-spread warfare will again occur and the New Jerusalem will be the only place not involved in war.
Some of the lost 10 tribes will come to that area from the north during what becomes World War IV, which leads to the collapse of Christian nations in Europe.
A significant council at Adam-ondi-Ahman will take place.
Remnants o the tribes of Israel will continue to gather and settle in Israel, and a ruler named David will reign as a righteous king as the temple in Jerusalem is built.
As Israel enlarges its borders, the great Battle of Armageddon will occur, with the defeat of Gog and his army (Magog). Christ will appear on the Mt. of Olives. In this era the fall of a great and abominable church is prophesied to occur, followed by increased missionary work to the heathen nations and worldwide.
After these events take place, it is prophesied that the Lord Jesus Christ will come in glory and reign on earth for 1,000 years.
Drawing from numerous prophecies, this talk details many aspects of the Lord’s second-coming advent, including the seven trumps and seven angels, the Lord’s appearance seen by all mankind, the further gathering of the elect, and the configuration of the earth being changed.
He Comes in Glory! concludes by discussing key aspects of the Savior’s millennium-long reign and tells how mankind should prepare for these future events.
