The design size of the temple is 93 by 69 squares. It is 93 by 78 squares if the name of the temple is included. If 14-count evenweave material is used, the finished temple will measure about 5” by 6½.”

The temple was dedicated on May 17, 1884 by President John Taylor, the only temple he dedicated. It is the second of the four original pioneer temples built in Utah.
