History
The temple was dedicated on July 16, 2000, by President Gordon B. Hinckley. On January 28, 2018, the temple was closed for exterior and interior restoration. It was rededicated on November 17, 2019, by Elder Quentin L. Cook. The temple is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is the 94th temple in operation today and the first temple in state of Louisiana.
