Description
by Annette Bradshaw & Gwyn Franson
The patterns in 12 Mormon Temples were created by Annette Bradshaw and Gwyn Franson in the early days of the LDS Church’s temples-expansion program. They were pioneers in the creation of counted cross-stitch temple-pattern designs. This book contains uniquely elegant designs of temples erected by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout the world. Newly-married couples enjoy having a cross-stitched design of the temple in which they were married, especially when it includes the name of the temple, their names, and the date of their eternal marriage sealing. Their relatives and friends enjoy stitching them as a demonstration of their love and friendship to the couples.
General instructions explain the basic cross-stitch, the backstitch, and other necessary stitches to create the temple and landscape details. Comprehensive detailed instructions are given for each temple (including finished design sizes for the temple only or for the temple with the backstitched name stitched).
